Steiff Bears
We have the US President Theodore Roosevelt to thank for the name Teddy Bear after a hunting trip where he was shooting wild bears.
Since then many companies started making teddy bears that became very popular with women and children.
Steiff, a German company, began making Steiff Bears back in 1902.
Some of their bears are now collectables. They also produce new ranges each year. Some of the latest popular bears include Steiff monkey, lamb and the My first Steiff range.
